Red River

It has become our tradition to spend the first week in August in Red River, NM with the family. It is such a great vacation because we get to take a much needed break from the 100+ degree temperatures here in College Station. The greatest thing about the vacation would have to be doing NOTHING!! We just relax there is no schedule and the kiddos just enjoy the outdoors all day! This year Bee, Pop, Uncle James, Aunt Katy, Shelby, Zoe, Aunt La La and Uncle Carl were all able to be there. It was such a blessing to get to hang out and just laugh with the family arround the camp fire. We took Koda and that was great because he got to work on retrieving with Brent everyday. The kids favorite things to do were ride bikes, dig in the dirt, throw rocks in the river, and ride the four wheelers with their daddy, uncle James and Pop. But above all else being so close to God and his beautiful creation was the greatest part of the trip!
